New Private Christian School
Where Will It Be?
A new Private School will be in Stabat, Sumatra with over 3,000,000 people, a few miles west of Medan (over 4 million people), Sumatra towards the west end of Sumatra.
The population is mostly Muslim (91%), along with Hindu (3%), Buddhist (2%), Catholics (2%) Christian (2%). we will have the only Private Christian Grade School on the island of Sumatra.
Indonesia allows to have the above religious facilities. They also allow registered organizations to have private schools. Angela Tobing has been part of the school staff of a Buddhist private school for 10 years and worked into overseeing the whole school.
Angela started the 1st year they were open with Grade 1 and Grade 2 and then each year it added the next grade level. She left this school in 2013.
During March 2013 she went to the government of Indonesia and passed all the exams and earned the position at any school that includes being a government overseer of schools, principal, head master, teach, and also own her own private school.
All government schools have religious classes for the religious persuasion for each child. A private school will do the same but a specific religious type school only has to have a religious class for those that they school is meant to be.
In our case we will have classes for the different age groups based on the Bible. Read more about us and help with support to further the Great Commission with you loving gifts.
Why In Indonesia?
We will be supporting Yayasan Gemilang Prime Schooll for children in grades 1 and grade 2. Each additional year we will go to the next grade level.
School hours for all schools are from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm. If the parents work, all children depend upon their older siblings when the go home.
So we are going to have after school classes and programs from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm These classes will augment some of the classes, like language not only in Indonesian but English, math, computer basic that will be work related, and other types of classes.
Depending on the income of the parent(s), is whether they will also have school charges after the 1st year. Most of the children will not have parents that have income more than $150.00 per month.
Our start-up year beginning in August 2017 will be at no cost for any family as this is a totally new idea as there have not been a Private Christian School in the Binjai and Medan area.
We hope to have 30% of the children allowed for each class the first year. As these kids move up to the next grade level, the new parents of children will see how our children will be at a higher level than public schools and will want to bring their children into our school.
